Setting up OneLogin SSO ensures your team can access AptEdge securely using their existing corporate credentials. This process requires Administrator privileges in both OneLogin and AptEdge.
Add AptEdge to OneLogin
First, you’ll need to add the AptEdge application to your OneLogin portal using our unique App ID.
Log in to your OneLogin Admin dashboard.
Navigate directly to the AptEdge App page:
https://yourcompany.onelogin.com/apps/new/168044(Note: 168044 is the dedicated AptEdge App ID within the OneLogin ecosystem).
Click Save in the top right corner to add the application to your instance.
Retrieve SAML Configuration Details
To link the two systems, you need to pull specific security strings from OneLogin to provide to AptEdge.
From the top navigation bar, go to Applications > Applications.
Select AptEdge SAML from your list of apps.
On the left-hand sidebar, click on SSO.
Keep this tab open. You will need to copy the following three values:
SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP)
Issuer URL
X.509 Certificate: Click View Details under the certificate heading, then use the Copy to Clipboard button to capture the full certificate string.
Finalize Integration in AptEdge
Now, move over to the AptEdge Web App to "plug in" the values you just gathered.
In AptEdge, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the OneLogin section.
Paste the SAML 2.0 Endpoint, Issuer URL, and X.509 Certificate into their respective fields.
Click Authorize.
Verify: The connection is successful when the icon changes to a green checkmark.
Managing User Access
Completing the technical setup is only half the battle—you must now grant your users permission to see the app.
App Assignment: SSO will only work for users who have been granted access to the AptEdge App within the OneLogin dashboard.
Role-Based Access: We recommend that OneLogin Admins assign the AptEdge app to specific User Groups or Roles to automate access for your support or engineering teams.
Provisioning: Ensure the email addresses in OneLogin match the email addresses users use to log into AptEdge.
