AptEdge supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) using the OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
Since AptEdge is a multi-tenant application, the easiest way to add it to your tenant is through a user-initiated consent request.
Add AptEdge as an Enterprise Application
Currently, AptEdge is added to your Microsoft Entra gallery when an administrator or user first attempts to sign in.
Navigate to your company's AptEdge instance:
https://[yourdomain].aptedge.ioOn the login screen, select Continue with Microsoft.
Log in with your Microsoft 365 credentials.
Request Permission: * If you are a Global Administrator, you can select "Consent on behalf of your organization" and click Accept to immediately authorize the app.
If you are a User, you will see a "Need admin approval" screen. Enter a justification (e.g., "Access for Support Team") and click Request Approval.
Admin Review and Approval
If a user has requested access, an administrator must approve the request in the Entra admin center to finalize the integration.
Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center.
Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
Under the Activity section in the left sidebar, select Admin consent requests.
Find the request for AptEdge and click on it.
Review the requested permissions (OpenID, Profile, Email) and select Review permissions and consent.
Once approved, the AptEdge application will now appear in your All applications list.
Restrict Access to Specific Users (Optional)
By default, once approved, any user in your tenant can sign into AptEdge. To restrict access to a specific group (e.g., your Support or Success departments), follow these steps:
Go to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications and select AptEdge.
Under Manage, select Properties.
Set Assignment required? to Yes and click Save.
Note: With this set to "Yes," users who are not explicitly assigned to the app will be blocked from logging in.
Navigate to Users and groups in the left sidebar.
Click Add user/group to select the specific individuals or security groups allowed to access AptEdge.
